First global symposium in health research ends today here in Montreux. 1200 participant attended the events. Four days of extensive discussions and presentations with hundreds of graphs and thousands of data. Dinner in casino and lavish lunch every day. It was really a mega event of the people who set up public health agenda of global magnitude. During the symposium there was less talk about HIV Aids , malaria and TB. There was even a talk about diverting recourses like global fund to other areas. This fatigue among scientific community may left millions of people who are living with disease without hope for future.
